Dr. Emer J. Makapugay is your dentist at Brandt Pike Dental Care, Inc. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. After earning his D.D.S. in 1994, he completed a General Practice Residency program at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Following 3 years of associateships with private dentists, he decided to open his own private practice in the summer of 1998. Dr. Makapugay truly enjoys his work and gets great satisfaction in improving his patient's smiles and overall health.

Leslie has been working for Dr. Mak for 8 years as his Office Manager. She ensures that all guest have a pleasant and memorable experience. Leslie is deeply involved behind the scenes ensuring exceptional quality and service for our guests. In her free time she enjoys church, sports and spending time with her family and friends.

Nina R.D.H. has been working for Dr. Mak for 8 years. She is a 2001 graduate of Sinclair Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. In 2007 she became certified to deliver local anesthesia she is also CPR certified. Her goal is to create a safe environment to educate about optimum oral health and practice gentle dentistry to patients of all ages. Nina enjoys spending time with her family, taking weekend trip to Nashville and watching the Titans on Sunday afternoons.

Jody E.F.D.A. has been working for Dr.Mak for a year as an EFDA. She graduated from Sinclair Community College in 1985 as Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, received her X-ray and CPR certification. She has been working in the dental field for 28 years. Jody enjoys spending time with her daughter.

Jamie has been working for Dr. Mak for 7 years as the Receptionist. She is a 2002 Graduate of the MVCTC in the dental assisting program and is also certified in CPR. Jamie is attending Sinclair Community College where she is working towards an Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with her 2 boys, Dominick 2 and Branson 1, her husband and playing softball.

Sarah has been working with Dr. Mak for 4 years as a Dental Assistant.  She has been certified to take x-rays since 2007 and is also certified in CPR.  Sarah is currently attending Indiana University East where she is working towards a BA in Business Management. When Sarah gets a little free time she enjoys spending it with her son Carson, playing volleyball and planning for her upcoming fall wedding.

Beverly has been working for Dr. Mak for 4 years as the Billing Specialist. She graduated from Sinclair Community College in 2007 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science with a concentration in Business Information Systems. Bev has a huge love for animals. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Cathleen has been working for Dr. Mak for 2 years as a Dental Assistant. She is CPR certified and working towards getting her CDA. She is attending Indiana University East where she is working towards a BA in Business Management. You can usually find Cat playing softball or laying pool side in her spare time.
